By accessing or using Word Per Day (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Service description

Word Per Day is a free, ad-supported word puzzle and word-finder website. We provide a daily word-scramble game and tools to find valid English words from given letters. The Service is offered as-is, without warranty of any kind.

2. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use automated tools (bots, scrapers, crawlers other than legitimate search engines) to access or copy the Service
  • Attempt to disrupt, overload, or interfere with the Service or its infrastructure
  • Reverse-engineer, modify, or create derivative works of the Service for commercial purposes
  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose

3. Intellectual property

The Service's design, code, templates, and original written content are © 2026 Word Per Day. The underlying English wordlist (ENABLE) is in the public domain. Word definitions are sourced from publicly available dictionary APIs.

Word Per Day is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Scrabble®, Words With Friends®, Hasbro, Mattel, Zynga, or any other word-game publisher. All trademarks belong to their respective owners.

4. No warranty

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the wordlist is exhaustive or accurate for any particular game or tournament. Tournament Scrabble play uses TWL or SOWPODS dictionaries which differ from ENABLE.

5. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Word Per Day and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.

6. Third-party services

This Service uses third-party services including Google Analytics and Google AdSense. Your interaction with these services is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies.

7. Changes

We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
